Ambassadors

Antonia aka Amja Unabashedly
A former Woman’s Trust client with lived experience of domestic abuse, Antonia is a vocal advocate for specialist, trauma-informed mental health support for survivors. Antonia supports our work by speaking about the real-life impact of domestic abuse on her mental health at events and meetings with important stakeholders such as the Deputy Mayor of London. In particular, she is keen to highlight the importance of being able to access specialist counselling services, regardless of your background.
A multifaceted artist, known as Amja Unabashedly, Antonia also uses art to empower other women through her work, which includes wall art, poem and song, apparel and stationery. Her artwork reflects her journey: exploring and unpicking the themes that envelop domestic abuse and other forms of trauma, while simultaneously sharing messages of love and growth as a direction to manage life’s challenges.
Antonia likes to say “Let Art Be Your Becoming” and she uses her skills to develop, deliver and facilitate art-themed workshops for charities and corporates.

Rachel Tansy Chadwick
We are delighted to announce that Rachel Tansy Chadwick has become our resident Poet for the next 12 months. Rachel has lived experience of domestic abuse and has been a client at Woman’s Trust. Rachel has been writing poetry since she was a young girl and is now published. Her book, Running Through Trees and Glitter is available to buy at South London Books.
Rachel will be supporting Woman’s Trust over the next 12 months at events and through a poetry workshop with our clients.
Rachel’s poems draw on her life experience and she has even written one about the support she has received from Woman’s Trust. Watching Rachel perform her work is incredible and she often performs her poetry using sign language as she is qualified in British Sign Language.

Ria Gandhi
Online fitness coach and founder of The Empowerment Club, Ria Gandhi, is on a mission to help women to feel strong in every sense of the word. She is passionate about empowering her clients through their health by taking an approach that nurtures the body, mind, and connection. Her goal is for women to feel strong and build confidence that translates far beyond the walls of a gym.
A survivor of domestic abuse, Ria understands the unhealthy behaviours and patterns that can stem from past trauma. That’s why Ria is determined that The Empowerment Club is about more than fitness. It’s a community of strong women who build each other up and strive towards their goals together. It is about education and reframing mindsets to approach physical health and fitness in the healthiest and most enjoyable way. And the recognition that whilst we are strong alone, we will always be strongest together.
A huge supporter of our work, Ria says: “Woman’s Trust is a charity I wish I knew about after my experiences – the work you do is amazing.”
Committed to paying it forward, Ria also offers free spaces to Woman’s Trust staff and clients on her regular fitness challenge programme.

Suzie Kennedy
Appearing in everything from commercials to films, Suzie Kennedy is known around the globe for her likeness to the legendary actress Marilyn Monroe.
But what few people know is that while Suzie was carving out a successful career as a young woman, she also endured years of horrific domestic abuse. The suffering didn’t stop once the relationship was over – Suzie had to deal with the emotional and psychological aftermath, which she was only able to do through counselling.
Now a qualified psychotherapist herself, Suzie spends most of her time supporting others to overcome trauma and is a staunch advocate of our work and the power of therapy to support people to heal from abusive relationships. She also fundraises at every opportunity she can, including the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2025.
We supported Suzie to share her personal journey, which you can read here (non paywall version).

Tee Falcone
Tee has shown a huge commitment to raising awareness of domestic abuse. As one of our ambassadors, she has represented Woman’s Trust at many events. Tee has participated in no less than three challenges to raise funds for us! She has completed the Santa in the City run, the City Mile run (on crutches!) and the Santa Run in Victoria Park. Tee has raised over £1,000 for Woman’s Trust.
Tee says: “I feel honoured and privileged to have been asked to represent Woman’s Trust as an ambassador. My dedication to raise as much awareness of domestic abuse as possible is paramount. It’s a subject often not spoken about. I am committed to engaging with women affected by the detrimental effects of domestic abuse. By speaking up and sharing, there is huge hope for a brighter future and for women to recover and rebuild their lives.
“The various services offered by Woman’s Trust are incredibly beneficial and have changed copious women’s lives for the better – together we are stronger.”
We’re grateful to Tee for all her efforts in raising awareness about our services – thank you, Tee!
