Tazeen Ahmad

Award-winning reporter, writer and broadcaster, Tazeen Ahmad, became one of our patrons in July 2016.

With a background of 20 years in journalism, Tazeen has been a TV reporter and presenter at the BBC, Channel 4 and NBC news. Outside of journalism, she is the founder and director of EQ Matters, an emotional intelligence consultancy which provides coaching for senior leaders, teams and executives.

What Tazeen says about Woman’s Trust:

“Recovering after an abusive relationship takes support, energy and resilience that a survivor will have low reserves of. Woman’s Trust provides life-changing validation and counselling that can get a woman psychologically back on her feet, in order to rebuild a better life for herself and her children. This kind of help is not only priceless but also has long-lasting effects.”
