Individual support
Our counselling and group therapy sessions are often a lifeline for women who experience violent, abusive or controlling relationships. We help hundreds of women every year.
With your help, we can empower even more domestic abuse survivors to improve their emotional wellbeing and mental health.
Why we need your help
Few people make the connection between domestic abuse and the impact it has on mental health and emotional wellbeing. We do what we can, but we rely on donations and grants to support our work with vulnerable women.
Last year, around £60,000 of our total income came from individual donations. That’s the equivalent of providing 912 counselling sessions, or 93 workshops or support groups. Or, put another way, because of donations from people like you, we were able to help empower at lease 83 women.
We appreciate all the help we can get, whether it’s a one-off donation or a regular donation – it all goes back into supporting more women to rebuild their lives.
Or if you prefer to do your fundraising offline, you could support us by holding bake sales and coffee mornings, or by taking part in sponsored sports or challenges.

in memoriam & legacy donations
If you are making your will, you may want to include a donation to charity as part of your legacy. Alternatively, you can make a donation to Woman’s Trust in memory of a loved one or colleague.
give as you live
Sign up to “Give as you Live” and shop online with your favourite brands as usual. Every time you buy something through the site, they will donate a percentage of your payment to Woman’s Trust – at no extra cost to you!
Or shop through our dedicated Everyclick site and not only will a percentage be donated to Woman’s Trust, but all searches and eBay activity made from this site will also raise money for us.
sell an item on eBay and donate the proceeds to us
Have a clearout and make the most of the clothes, shoes, accessories and electricals that you don’t use anymore! (OK, maybe not the shoes.)
If you sell something on eBay, you can donate all or a percentage of the proceeds to us here at Woman’s Trust.
