Tee has participated in no less than three challenges to raise funds for us! She has completed the Santa in the City run, the City Mile run (on crutches!) and the Santa Run in Victoria Park. Tee has raised over £1,000 for Woman’s Trust.

Tee says: I feel honoured and privileged to have been asked to represent Woman’s Trust as an ambassador. My dedication to raise as much awareness of domestic violence is paramount. It’s a subject often not spoken about. I am committed to engaging with women affected by the detrimental effects of domestic violence. By speaking up and sharing, there is huge hope for a brighter future and for women to recover and rebuild their lives.

“The various services offered by Woman’s Trust are incredibly beneficial and have changed copious women’s lives for the better – together we are stronger.

We’re grateful to Tee for all her efforts in raising awareness about our services – and as one of our regular fundraisers. Thank you, Tee!

Her likeness to Marilyn Monroe has led Suzie Kennedy to have an incredible career. She says: “For the last 25 years I have built a successful career as an actress and rebuilt my life after domestic abuse. I want to journey with women to show that recovery is possible after abuse. “As a trained counsellor I recognise how important counselling can be for women to have support to reflect on the impact of domestic violence on their lives to be able to move forward.”

Suzie is continually supporting the work that we do and is a fundraising champion having run her first half marathon for Woman’s Trust in 2023. Thank you Suzie.

Marianna was in an abusive relationship for four years and received support from Woman’s Trust.

She says:

“I could not believe that something like that could happen to someone like me. Woman’s Trust gave me the chance to attend counselling so I could find the answers I was looking for. I know it is possible to recover, to have a life after something so atrocious. Woman’s Trust is there for you.”
