Individual support
Our counselling and group therapy sessions are often a lifeline for women who experience violent, abusive or controlling relationships. We help hundreds of women every year.
With your help, we can empower even more domestic abuse survivors to improve their emotional wellbeing and mental health.
Why we need your help
Few people make the connection between domestic abuse and the impact it has on mental health and emotional wellbeing. We do what we can, but we rely on donations and grants to support our work with vulnerable women.
Last year, around £60,000 of our total income came from individual donations. That’s the equivalent of providing 912 counselling sessions, or 93 workshops or support groups. Or, put another way, because of donations from people like you, we were able to help empower at least 83 women.
We appreciate all the help we can get, whether it’s a one-off donation or a regular donation, it all goes back into supporting more women to rebuild their lives.

How you can help
Follow, share and amplify our voice
Follow us on social media and share our posts to help raise awareness of our work. A single share on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or X can reach someone who may be silently struggling in an abusive relationship. Your voice could be the reason someone seeks help.
Engage with our content
Like, comment, save, and share our posts to help them reach more people. Algorithms favour engagement and the more people who see our message, the more lives we can impact.
Create your own fundraiser
You can donate directly through our social media pages or set up a personal fundraiser on Facebook, Instagram, or other platforms. Many supporters choose to do this for birthdays, marathons, special occasions, or in memory of a loved one. Instead of gifts, ask friends and family to donate and support survivors.
Use your platform for good
Post about why this cause matters to you. Share educational content, statistics, or personal reflections. By starting conversations, you help break the stigma that still surrounds domestic violence and domestic abuse.
Partner with us
If you’re a content creator, business, or community leader, collaborate with us. Host a live session, share our resources, run a workplace fundraiser or organise a community event.
Challenge the silence
Fundraising is about more than money. It’s also about changing the conversation. With your support, we can continue to challenge the silence around domestic abuse and highlight the strong link between domestic abuse and mental health.
Together, we can raise awareness, change attitudes, and help more people find safety and support.
