Highlights

  • We received 1065 referrals in the year, provided 4486 counselling sessions, 29 therapeutic support groups, 41 psycho-educational workshops, and 11 Mother and Child Art therapy workshops.
  • Demand continues to outstrip our resources, and a combination of increased societal pressures and cuts to services has meant that we are seeing more women with complex mental health issues who have received no prior support.
  • Sustained cuts to statutory funding has increased competition for non statutory funding. This has forced us to invest proportionately more in efforts to diversify our funding, and draw in multiple short term funds towards a single project.
  • We have worked collaboratively to achieve our aims,  sustaining our partnership within Angelou and joining the London VAWG Consortium. We were successful in receiving partnership funding with IKRWO from DCLG; with Angelou partners from the Transformation Fund; and with Hestia, CAADA and corporate partners towards the Everyone’s Business project
  • Initiated the redevelopment of Woman’s Trust branding
  • Recorded our first  client and fundraising videos
